The Save Barwon Heads Alliance was formed to fight a proposal to expand the Barwon Heads town boundary for urban development. Our aim is to ensure that the existing town boundary and green break is retained for the long term.

Barwon Heads is one of the last remaining small coastal villages in Victoria. It is unique because it is surrounded by an internationally significant wetland-coastal-estuarine environment. These important features must be protected to ensure that the essence of the area is not destroyed through poor planning decisions.
